Tension springs are usually cylindrically wound coiled bodies of round wire, both ends of which have an eyelet or hook shape. The winding body of the helical tension spring is mainly subjected to torsion
Velleuer manufactures helical tension springs made of patented, drawn spring wire and stainless steel for static, quasi static and dynamic loads. A 100 % inline test for force and geometry is possible
Velleuer’s range of services for manufacturing helical tension springs includes all common spring manufacturing processes, including cleaning processes and surface coatings.
The winding body and eyelet or hook shape of a helical tension spring depend on, and can be customised in line with, its function and the available installation space.
